"At our core, we are all products of our experiences—experiences that shape the way we perceive ourselves, the world, and the relationships we form. Therapy is a space where we seek to untangle these beliefs, make sense of them, and rebuild them in a way that brings us closer to the kind of life we want to lead and the person we want to become."

I am an experienced Clinical Psychologist, originally trained in Australia and now residing in the UK. Throughout my career, I’ve had the privilege of working with and creating genuine connections with individuals from all walks of life. For this reason, I prioritize creating an environment where my clients feel safe and comfortable sharing their innermost thoughts and exploring different parts of themselves. I believe that individuals are experts of their own experiences, and through reflection and insight-building, I aim to utilise this knowledge to foster meaningful changes in each person’s life.

I adopt a therapeutic style that aligns with my values of creativity, humour, and flexibility. Additionally, I integrate various therapeutic modalities to tailor my practice to the unique needs of each client, ensuring a personalised and effective treatment experience.

Kimberley is trained in a range of evidence-based therapeutic approaches, including CBT, ACT, DBT, Schema Therapy, and EMDR. She adopts an integrated and eclectic approach, drawing on elements of each of these modalities to suit the individual needs of her clients. As a result, she is comfortable providing brief, skills-focused therapy, as well as longer-term work. She has a particular interest in using a schema therapy framework, which understands present-day difficulties in the context of early life experiences.

Kimberley has worked with clients presenting with depression, anxiety, grief, PTSD, stress, adjustment disorders, and emotion regulation difficulties. Additionally, she has supported people struggling with longer-term interpersonal difficulties, including perfectionism, people-pleasing, fears of abandonment, or a felt sense of incompetence or defectiveness.

Kimberley has experience working in community mental health teams, supporting people with complex difficulties, including chronic depression, personality disorders, and psychosis. Additionally, she has worked in specialist public mental health teams, including a gambling clinic and a child and adolescent mental health service. She has also worked within early intervention settings for children with neurodevelopmental disabilities and in a university clinic providing psychological treatment for students. More recently, Kimberley worked at a private psychology practice in Sydney, seeing both adolescents and adults with a diverse range of presentations ranging from burnout, to a general feeling of ‘stuckness’.

As a result of her experience, Kimberley understands the challenges that various life stages and transitions may present and she welcomes people at any stage of their journey to engage with her in psychological therapy.
