Handing over the day-to-day childcare responsibilities and chores to your partner may bring relief but it can come at an emotional cost. Feeling guilt, remorse and as if you are missing out, can be common.
But do recognise that these feelings are understandable. The core values you hold as a parent may actually be aligned with going to work. You can still be caring and supportive at the same time as going to work.
